The name Full Send Rod Co. was born on a rough day of fishing in the Outer Banks, NC. The weather was brutal — 25–30 knots of wind down the beach, and the current was ripping. I remember loading up a 12-ounce weight on my Daiwa Ballistic rod, paired with my red Akios F15, and thinking to myself as I walked down to the water: “Alright, Don’t blow up the reel”. Standing in the wash, the weight swung back like a pendulum, I began to turn and load the rod. At that point I was totally committed to the cast. I was either going to “Send it” or hear the unfortunate “Zig-Pop”…. And under my breath, with a little bit of strain in my voice, I said “Full Send”.

That moment stuck with me. Not just the cast, but the mindset. Full Send is about putting everything you have into what you’re doing — no holding back, no second-guessing. It’s the same mentality I carry as a Flight Paramedic and former Firefighter: when it matters most, you give 100% of your skill, passion, and energy. In that role, there’s a lot on the line — far more weight than any fish will ever be — but we’re pulling that same mindset into this brand.

That’s the heart behind Full Send Rod Co. Every rod I build carries that same commitment. Because when the lines get tight and the fight is on, your gear should give you the confidence to go all in — Full Send.
